At Superior Floors, we have the philosophy that we will use only the best installers. The reason is simple – A job well done may cost more in the beginning, but will have less chance of expensive trouble in the future.
When we sell you a floor, we do so under the assumption that you will use one of our installers. We regularly keep track of their performance, insurance, and licensing, so that you don’t have to.
However, if you want to find your own installer, here are our tips on how to do so:
- Get referrals from people you trust.
- Check contractor’s license numbers! If they don’t have one, don’t use them!
- Honesty over economy – An honest, skilled installer won’t usually be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. You’ll pay more in the long run for a bad installation – Even the best materials in the world won’t last if they are installed incorrectly.
- Use the right type of contractor for the job – General contractors aren’t always educated on the finicky specifics of how flooring installations work.
